Purpose and responsibility
The Alpekin Journal provides carefully considered information for general readers. Every article has a responsible editorial member who remains accountable for its claims, sources, presentation, and later maintenance.
Sources and verification
Sources are selected according to the claim being examined. We prefer original, authoritative, and current material where it is available, while recognizing limitations, uncertainty, and meaningful disagreement.
Editors check that sources support the language used, quotations preserve their context, and dates, identifiers, and citations are recorded accurately. Article references lead readers to the underlying record and, when available, an Alpekin source guide.
Review, clarity, and independence
Material claims should be expressed with the degree of certainty their evidence supports. The Journal distinguishes evidence, interpretation, and practical guidance, and does not exchange editorial decisions for payment or preferential treatment.
Relevant commercial relationships, conflicts, sponsorship, and material assistance are disclosed when they could affect a reader's understanding.
Use of AI tools
Automated tools may assist with organization, drafting, translation, comparison, or technical checks. Their output is treated as material to verify, never as an authority. A responsible editorial member retains human accountability for every published edition.
Corrections and updates
Confirmed errors are corrected promptly and proportionately. Changes affecting meaning, evidence, attribution, or a reader's understanding receive a visible notice; minor spelling or formatting corrections need not.
Articles may also be updated as evidence, links, and practical context change. Significant updates are dated and explained on the article.
Reader feedback
Readers may report a suspected error to the article’s responsible editorial member through their profile, or email journal@alpekin.com. Reports are considered carefully, while final editorial decisions remain with the Journal.
